Recently, the &#8216;Augusta Ballet&#8217;, announced a party celebrating the retirement of their debt. The first sentence uses the weak construction, &#8216;Some people say&#8230;&#8217; without telling us who are &#8216;some people&#8217;. This is a celebration of what exactly? Below is my letter:\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 80%; margin: 0 auto; text-align: left; font-face: Times, Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p>Dear Editor,<\/p>\n<p>\nI just read the news of the Augusta Ballet&#8217;s emergence from debt. Indeed,<br \/>\noperating in the black is laudable; still, I ask, at what cost? The sacking of<br \/>\nthe entire creative sta\ufb00, i.e. the professional &#8216;local talent.&#8217; What remains?<br \/>\nA couple of folks occupying an o\ufb03ce, conference-calling presenters to pick<br \/>\ntouring companies.
